Self-driving Truck Startup, Aurora Innovation, Sells $420M in Shares

Aurora Innovation is raising up to $420 million in additional capital to support its driverless commercial launch by the end of 2024. The company, which went public in 2021, plans to sell shares to underwriters and use the funds for general corporate purposes. Aurora's stock surged after the announcement.

Microsoft is Now Competing with OpenAI

Microsoft's relationship with OpenAI has become more competitive, with Microsoft now listing OpenAI as a rival in AI, search, and advertising. Despite a strong partnership, tensions have risen, especially after OpenAI's CEO shakeup and Microsoft's new AI initiatives. Lemon Sues Musk Over Canceled X Deal

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon sued Elon Musk, alleging unfair termination of their partnership with X (formerly Twitter) and non-payment. Lemon claims X used his name to attract advertisers before canceling their deal. The lawsuit was filed in California after the partnership was scrapped in March 2024.
